I do not often play games but when I do find the time, I like to enjoy a game that challenges me and draws my focus and attention. For me, playing a game is more about taking time out away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I tried a couple of slot games, bubble games, Sprint Hero and also stack but none really held my attention very long. With Sprint Hero, that has not been the case. If anything, I do not find enough time to play.
I tried a few different strategy and puzzle games, some I liked, others I lost interest in within the first few minutes, but with Sprint Hero, I have enjoyed working my way through the number of challenges and difficulty levels.
The game keeps you involved at the timing of your actions is what makes the levels, make or break. There are a number of variations so you cannot just play for the sake of playing. With Sprint Hero, timing is everything. The game hinges around when to run or jump for the fruits. You are required to let go of the control that you use to run and just the right time. If you have timed this correctly, you will be able to access all three the fruit rewards. You do however still move forward in the game if you only get one or 2 of the fruits. This takes a lot of practice and planning. Getting the 3 fruits at once is part of the fun.
If you have not timed your jump correctly, I am afraid you will be dropping of the platform. If you jump too soon, you miss the ground where you are supposed to land to chop your fruit. If you jump too late you will be sailing over your target and not collecting the fruit. When you collect the fruit, the wall or path (however you wish to describe it) extends, allowing you to move forward to the next screen.
I played both Sprint Hero and Stick Hero for a while but soon lost interest in Stick Hero. With Stick Hero, the ads were one of the main reasons I uninstalled the game, that and the fact that it is actually not that challenging after the first few levels.
Sprint Hero installed quickly. I downloaded it from Google Play and was on my phone and ready in less than 2 minutes. It is a fun game that requires focus and planning. It is also a game that can leave you frustrated and more determined than ever to get through the levels.
