If you are in the market for an app that will allow you to store passwords to all of your accounts, so you don’t have to, look no further than Passwords Keeper. It’s a password management app that not only saves your passwords, it provides you with easy access to all the accounts you set up.
Now, many of you may be skeptical as to how secure your information really is. You might be asking yourself, “how do I know the app itself won’t get hacked or use the information to get into my account?” That’s not what this app is in the business of doing. Sure, it’s a free download, but in order to use it, you have to buy subscription. The app is built with tight security, preventing hackers from getting into you Passwords Keeper app.
The app supports a 6-digit PIN code that you set up and only you know. You can opt to use Face ID and Touch ID as well for additional layers of protection, which I highly recommend.
Once you’ve completed the download, set up the accounts you want instantaneous access to. If you are wary, don’t enter your bank account information. Start with something small, like your Spotify account information or the login credentials to your school districts website. The information is stored encrypted on your device and cannot be “seen” by Passwords Keeper or any other eyes, besides yours.
To access your accounts using Passwords Keeper, all you do is tap on the account. Passwords Keeper will take you straight to the app or account, auto filling the username and password. This saves you time and headaches of having to remember both the username and the password.
Using the app is easy. All you have to do is know which accounts you want to setup in Passwords Keeper and know what the correct login credentials are. Enter those and even assign each account its own icon for easy identification. Once your accounts are setup you can test it out by tapping on it. The password you enter is encrypted, so only you see it. When it’s being used to login to your account, it gets decrypted and entered into the login page.
Not much is lacking in this app. I would like to see a non-Premium subscription available, or a change in the naming of the types of subscriptions, because not everyone needs premium level. It may help to expand the customer base.
For anyone who needs some assistance getting to their accounts safely and securely, Passwords Keeper is a great option. You can start off small and work your way up, adding accounts as you feel necessary and comfortable adding, providing you with quick access.
