Hidden Objects: Coastal Hill is the newest edition to the Coastal Hill series of games where you are tasked with figuring out a mystery while solving puzzles and finding missing pieces.
In Hidden Objects, your focus is to find hidden objects while you try to find clues to why the town has fallen apart. You get to choose your character in the storyline and dress them with pieces that each have their own special abilities. After you’ve completed character creation, you can start the game.
You move your character, or avatar, around different landmarks and locations around town. Not only must you find hidden items, clues and artifacts, you must do so while fending off the occasional intruder. Yes, there will be strange creatures that will attack and prevent you from finding objects and continuing your path to solving the mystery, so you will need to be alert and use your special powers to defeat them.
The graphics are sharp and realistic, which helps you attain full immersion into the game. As you continue to find objects and successfully complete Match 3 challenges, you will advance in the game to come closer to a conclusion. There are over 1,000 quests and more than 100 collectibles which, when found, bump up your point balance, or in the case of the app, crystals. These crystals reduce when you get killed, for whatever reason, so you want to make sure you have enough of these to keep you playing.
In addition to finding hidden objects, you will also have an opportunity to redesign and restore a haunted mansion, within which lies several key objects that will earn you even more crystals. There are various search tools provided in seven different game modes. Another option for earning bonuses is to build Wonders of the World.
There are several activities that you can participate in, the entertainment is endless, keeping your brain engaged and well exercised. Each puzzle, riddle and game improve your logic skillset.
The developers have also designed this app, so you don’t have to be connected to the internet to play, which means maximum play time. You can even invite Facebook friends to play, as well, and interface with them using stickers. What would be nice is to open this up to inviting players from different social media sources.
